With hundreds of years of experience within the firm, we recognize the importance of sharing our knowledge and expertise with one another. This has sparked the implementation of ‘Vanical International Day’, where we come together quarterly and hold a day of presentations and information sessions by current employees on any professional topic they wish to share. Recent past presentations have discussed future trends in the satellite insurance industry, methods for mitigating risks to commercial satellites associated with debris in LEO, applications of machine learning to track space debris, and applications of metamaterials engineering in commercial space launch. Planned future presentations will address recent advancements in gene therapy using CRISPR-Cas9 for early diagnosis and prevention of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and glioblastoma.
